Franklin Tartaglione - Fine Decorative Painting - Fine Art - Franklin Tartaglione has worked with many of the world's most renowned interior designers. In the early 1980's he was first assistant at the side of the late Robert Jackson, then the premier decorative artist in the country; he formed his own firm in 1986. Clients have included The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, where in addition to his decorative work in the American Wing’s period rooms, his fine art is represented in the museum's permanent drawing collection. Other notable clients include The White House, Blair House, the Diplomatic Reception Rooms at The State Department in Washington D.C., Merchant / Ivory Productions, and several projects for The Royal Family of The Netherlands. In addition, it has been Franklin’s great pleasure to make artistic contributions to hundreds of the country's most distinguished private residences.

'Blue Trees" is one of a series of paintings depicting views looking through the trees of the Brooklyn waterfront to Manhattan beyond. The lines in the painting faithfully render the specific directional qualities of the view, as the work depicts the abstraction we perceive in our everyday seeing process.

Franklin Tartaglione’s career as a painter spans 40 years. During the past 30 years his large abstract landscape paintings have been exhibited in many galleries throughout the United States. Reviews of these exhibitions have proclaimed him a “master of color and form”.

Franklin's work is represented in many collections of Fine Art at home and abroad including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
